Product range is phenomenal and offers the user a great wide range of selection no matter the product or category he or she may be shopping for.  I liked the fact that the photos of the instruments were sharp and the descriptions gave great details.  You could simply click on the product name and a wealth of information appeared regarding that product.  Most of the entire site featured marked down prices or some type of special deal.  There is even a “New Day- New Deal” tab for daily specials. 

Ordering off the website at AMS was quiet simple and painless.  There’s a shopping cart section and a dedicated wish list for you to add to when you make your visits.  I was easily able to find the brand I wanted just by simply viewing the “Shop by Brand” section.  Viewers are allowed to limit their search to type of instrument or product they’re looking for just by simply clicking on the top tabs on the homepage.  It’s a pretty simple process- price and item description is right there at your finger tips.

The best thing about AMS and their customer service was the ability to chat live with help immediately…there’s no waiting for someone to respond to an email or making a phone call only to get a machine.  American Musical Supply has actual humans that know what they are talking about to help answer your questions and lend you support.  Their customer service team isn’t about making a sale- they’re about just helping you out; I really liked that they weren’t pushy and sales like when I just needed to know something about a Peavey Amp versus a Behringer Amp.

The shipping policy at AMS is really a simple process- they make this claim on their website and it’s so very true.  American Musical Supply often offers free shipping site wide on products; however, if not- customers can expect to pay just $4.95 for orders under $49.95 and nothing for items over that amount.  Items ship generally the same day and you’re quickly given an email confirmation with tracking information.

The return policy at American Musical Supply offers customers a 45 day return from the actual shipping date.  The company also offers electronic return labels for ease; you simply call the 1-800 numbers or fill out a form online; your label is then emailed to your address and all you have to do is attach it and follow the UPS instructions.
