The Grooming Lounge is a place just for men. And with all of the online beauty stores catering to women with men added on usually with limited products, the Grooming Lounge has changed all of that.

Started by in 1999 by Michael Gilman and Pirooz Sarshar, these two brought their backgrounds in cosmetics, grooming products and hair care for men to create a forum for men to come and shop for their own specific needs. Beause they were in the business they were able to offer advice to their friends and then they decided to offer their expertise to all the other men around the country who could also use a little help.

Overall Selection :

The philosophy at the Grooming Lounge is pretty much cut to the chase. Why make a guy who comes to shop at the Grooming Lounge go through 50 different shaving creams when he can just pick out the one he likes from the cream of the crop. The Grooming Lounge only offers the very best products based on recommendations from professionals in the field who would know.

Some of the top-of-the line brands available for men at the Grooming Lounge are Cellex-C, Axis Electric Shavers and  Balla Powder. When you shop by category you can look through new stuff, shaving products, skin care, hair treatments, anti aging products and fragrance, among other things. There is even a section called Embarrassing Issues where men will feel comfortable checking out privately.

Ease of Use :

This is one of the easiest sites around. When you select an area, say skin care, up pops a Grooming Lounge TV video with a demonstration on how to properly clean your skin. There is a grooming guys blog where the two co-founders address issues that are important to men. Providing a place where men can shop and not feel embarrassed by situations or problems was an important basis for creating the Grooming Lounge.
