Kiehl’s is almost like the Cheers version of skin and hair salons. Kiehl’s started out in 1851 as a pharmacy on Third Avenue in the East Village. The original store is still standing but the company, while maintaining the philosophy that set it apart, has moved onward.

The products all carry the Kiehl’s name and the formulations are unlike anything you will find anywhere else. There are products for men, women, children, babies – even pets!

Overall Selection :

What an interesting array of products! Facial products include a facial fuel energizing face wash, an acai damage-minimizing cleanser and a brightening botanical cleansing cream. Specialty bath products include Lavender Foaming Relaxing Bath with Sea Salts and Aloe, Mineral Muscle Soak Foaming-Relaxing Bath and Kiehl’s French Rose Water.

The products are reminiscent of the apothecary from which the company grew from. The products have an organic and soothing appeal and are moderately priced. You can try up to three free samples and there are travel ready formulas available. You can use your MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club to pay for your orders.

Ease of Use :

Departments are all broken down into categories by needs and they are easy to shop around in. What’s nice is a section that has employee and customer favorites. These are the products that the people who work in the Kiehl’s locations use and can’t live without.
