RapidFAX Review

The Rapidfax service allows the user to send and receive faxes through your email from the website after you have logged onto your account or both. You can use your existing email account when faxing and Hotmail and other web based email is compatible. Whenever you send a fax Rapidfax will send you a confirmation that the fax was sent, whenever you receive a fax they will notify you via email and you can then open the mail and read the fax using Acrobat reader or you can log onto your account and read it through your web browser. Rapidfax allows for the use of multiple names and numbers with a single account and give you the option of sending multiple faxes at one time.

Rapidfax offer a single tariff for home and small business users which includes 100 free fax pages sent within the US only and 200 faxes received per month. Charges after the monthly allowance are $0.08 per page within the US; charges for faxes sent outside the US vary from country to country. A toll free number is given at no extra cost. Corporate faxing is available for those who need to send large amounts of faxes and this also gives you the ability of integrating your faxes within Lotus notes. Information and pricing is given for corporate faxing via telephone requests.  

Customer services are available via an online chat system and a phone number is available for questions and support. A manual is available as a download in PDF format which explains the service and how to get the best from the service and there is an extensive FAQ page with answers to all the most common questions on a variety of aspects of the service.
