Music Notation Software programs are like any other software programs on the market- they are basically the same except for their claims and their price. For Notationware’s software program- Play Music; one of the many music notation software programs available to composers, teachers, and students and basically anyone in the music industry- they are somewhat different! They are affordable and easy to use!
Features :
The Play Music software program is the answer to other high price software programs for professionals; however, its interface is easy to navigate and it’s a lot faster to learn than other music writing and composing products. The Play Music software allows you to enter simple scores and even complicated works with ease and with very few clicks of the mouse- something even the most prized musician treasures. You have the ability to create MIDI files and play them back- great for those preparing, practicing, or composing new music. The on-screen commands are a lot less complicated than the many menu tools that several of the other music notation software programs utilize, as well. The software features 24 staves per system; 8 available voices per staff and 31 different templates- so regardless your choice; you can bet it’s downloaded onto the software. Play Music is a great easy program for teachers, as well. The program isn’t too expensive to include in your classroom- think about it. I would have loved to have experienced the world of music through Play Music software…it would have been so much more lucrative than all those sleepy days in my grade school music classroom.
Ease of Use :
This program is catered to the beginner musician; however, the program has many features that even the most advanced musician would find intriguing; especially for the price. Where else can you find a music studio for pennies? There are tutorials available and menu options that give the user tips and suggestions, as well. The overall use is simple and pretty much self explanatory to beginners like me- wonderful product that I would definitely give a 10!
Pricing :
For those wanting a less expensive option that still offers optimal creation and printing of sheet music; there’s Play Music- Notationware’s answer to easy composition and sheet writing at an affordable price. For best deals shop directly with Notationware; you’ll find a free trial happening as we speak and a great download available for under $50 online.
Summary :
Overall Play Music notation software is an economical choice for those working in the music world. Whether you’re a student, teacher, composer, or even a novice music lover- this is a great option in the world of music notation software. Best for all of us that love the world of music- it’s a fun software program. I experienced hours and hours of fun just by downloading the free trial- you can too!
